About Car Concierge
To say that Chris was born in a sports car is not far from the truth.
His parents met at a Triumph owners club meet. His uncle was in the 1988 Jaguar Le Mans winning crew, and Chris was racing carts before his 10th birthday.
His first trip to Le Mans was in his first classic car - a 1973 Ceylon gold BMW 3.0 CSI, and 2019 saw his 16th trip to Le Sarthe circuit, (which he curated and led for Aston Martin).
After a successful career as a Lloyd’s of London broker Chris made a decisive move into the classic, collector and luxury car sector - first running a classic car showroom in San Francisco, and then opening a storage and members club house there. He continued racing his Lotus 7 with the CSRG, and always enjoys his time with fellow enthusiasts in the paddock.
Transitioning to Jaguar Land Rover of Monterey in order to be closer to Pebble Beach / Car Week, he soon found himself curating collections with his friend Danny Sullivan (winner of the 85 Indianapolis Grand Prix). In 2017 he was approached by Aston Martin Beverly Hills, and as Brand Ambassador there, he built a significant business of strategic partners. Chris continues to be a reliable ‘go to’ figure in the luxury, classic and collector car scene, upholding friendships with racers, tv personalities, well known collectors, auction houses, and he is always on hand to help consult for upcoming businesses in the space.
He sees huge value in building partnerships, is entrepreneurial by nature and is not afraid to question the status quo, driven by his passion to keep creating a more connected community and business around the collector car space. You’ll find him at cars and coffee events, on the green at bespoke car shows, speaking in front of audiences, curating trips to a European motor race, or – when he gets the time – cruising the canyons of California in his ’73 Jensen Interceptor.
